Like sunshine after the rain, many unsettled political crises and the opinionative disunions of Thai citizens, now, have being solved and bound together after the royal instructions of the King. Besides, the 60th anniversary celebrations of King Bhumibol Adulyadej's accession to the throne is also a big good chance to joint the people together and make them realized how important the unity is in order to retain, maintain and develop the nation.
According to this big change, we can see how much the King influences Thai people not only just because he has a blood of a royal dynasty of Thailand but he’s the real King who genuinely cares the living of people in every regions of Thailand. His majesty the King invented and offered many solutions to his people; for example, his self-sufficient economy theory which suggests the people to balance their lives, assume economically and not to be commercialized in the world of capitalism. No matter how far it is, if there are any disasters or devastations, His Majesty the King will be there in order to help and encourage the victims. His Majesty the King dedicates his life to his people, that’s why we Thais dedicate our loves back to him and respect him as a leader of the family and call him “father.”
The 60th Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty the King's Accession to the Throne was said to be the unforgettable day of Thai History. The whole country was changed into yellow; they wore the yellow t-shirts and decorate their houses with yellow flags in order to pay homage to the His Majesty the King heartily. The yellow t-shirts, every copy of the newspaper which has the King’s pictures were sold out in a short time. Thai websites put “We love our King” tags in their sites. Moreover, on the Thai online community also put the words “I ♥ the King” in front of their contact names. On the days of Celebration, in some provinces, reported that the record of crime was zero, there was not even an accident case. Thai families were utterly concentrated on TV in order to watch the King appeared and made a speech.After the days of celebration, I, as a Thai people, had many chances to ask my friends how they feel to the King’s speech. Mostly, them and their families cried, realized and appreciated to the King’s speech. Again, Thai were awakened by the King to realize the meaning of the unity and to solve the problems reasonably. Personally, Thailand is going to be changed in the better ways with a more reasonable vision though there are still many conflicts right now. No matter what the result will be, at least we will learn from it.
